John Hughes is an up-and-coming musician to watch. His debut CD, "Rive," showcases nine original tracks and a complete re-production of The Turtles Classic #1 hit, "Happy Together." Hughes combines R&B, Rock and Pop influences to form a unique sound that keeps you humming Hughes' melodies long after the CD has ended. Catchy hooks, such as the chorus of pop ballad "All The Time" are frequent, while the jazzier style of "Dana" demonstrates the spectrum of his talent as a songwriter, and his ability to draw a wide-ranging audience. His most recent award-winning single "Find A Way" combines an English rock sound with hip hop beats.

John's music has an upbeat quality that is simultaneously soulful and sexy. His smooth yet edgy voice carries the buoyant quality of his melodies, and well-placed back-up vocals create compelling intensity and intrigue. John has been involved in the music industry for years, recently working with Grammy award-winning producer Narada Michael Walden as an engineer. Hughes performs as a solo artist in major cities across the USA.

Hughes' music is as captivating as it is powerful. Energetic melodies possess distinctive hooks while his lyrics convey depth and insight. Paired with Hughes' dynamic delivery, these songs seduce the ear while moving the heart. As head of JH Productions, John coordinates a team of musical artists. He is also a singer, songwriter, performer, producer and musician.

His objective is to produce, engineer and compose music and film scores targeting several industries: Software, Entertainment, Film, Television, Video, Radio, Toy, Electronic. His plan is to explore various multi-media business opportunities.
